I read on the website page of UNHRC (United Nations Human Rights Council) that nowadays access of informations become so much important in this era of digitalization. It means internet recently become so much relevant to gain access of informations in aim of digital literacy, digital learning, and so on to consume and provide of informations through means of communication such an internet connection. Access of informations is part of human rights, to fulfill the rights to know.
In this hard times during pandemic, people forced to stay at home by the government, use every all of communication means to work from home while at the same time doing physical distancing (revised by WHO from social distancing) that WHO suggested since early march this year.
Unfortunately, not everyone been productive enough to make money. The student will suffer from learning gap between those who’s privileged enough to gain access of internet and those who’s unable to pay the bill for their everydays connection.
That’s when all of my hope and dream of free access of informations become so much relevant. There is a gap between those who can access and those who cannot even afford to gain access of informations.
The agenda should be pressed higher towards government and communication corporate need to be integrate as a strong political will of free access of informations. The higher institution of education should be aware that access of informations means free flow of knowledge transfers to achieve highest standart of transfer of knowledge. And this is the exact time why both of institution (states & higher education) is needed the most at this time to push the agenda of free access of informations, not for only those who’s privileged enough.
